The chic retreat is a 1 hour and 50 minutes drive from Auckland City, a 30-minute drive from Hamilton.  In a rural setting, 8 minute drive from Raglan township.  With a backdrop of established trees and a willow lined pond, ‘The Round Tent’ is a retreat like no other, a glamping-camping experience, a get-away from the hustle and bustle, a place to unwind.  With features like an outdoor fire, a stone bath under the stars and the treat of watching movies enveloped under canvas.

Come rain or shine the spacious 7m-diameter yurt is a beautiful space to relax in, with every last detail sorted including all your technology requirements. A generous deck and fire pit compliment the tent but on a rainy day there is nothing more soothing than feeling cocooned inside the yurt with the sound of rain on your canvas roof.

An easy walk down the road is the famous Raglan Roast coffee shop and the old Te Uku store where you can pick up basic supplies.

The utility building a few steps away from the yurt is connected by a covered walkway and has a modern kitchen and bathroom. Should you want to park up and disconnect from the world ‘The Round Tent’ is self-catering allowing you the convenience to bring your own food and drink, you can cook meals using the electric stovetop and BBQ provided or make pizzas in the wood fire pizza oven. All kitchenware is provided.

There is a lush queen size bed with beautiful linens and behind a screen is a standard bunk bed.
